Their white livery seems such a brilliant livery now. Am still scratching my head as to the brilliant brain behind this monstrosity; probably NG's grand kids _________________ My Flickr photos

As said by Aiel, their still to be painted aircrafts look better than this crap paint....i still remember that i had commented on one of my photo's on JP...
"Wonder when they'll start painting them in the Jetlite colors..!!"
I should have been satisfied with their white fuselages than this...!! |

I wish it would have more of the 9W livery aspects to it, other than that "broken egg" on the tail. _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

I quite like it!
Looks young, colourful, and perfect for a LCC.

Rubbish....but suits jetlite's crappy planes. Looks like someone has scraped off the blue paint from jet's tail and whatever remains is in front of you. _________________ India is one of the richest countries in the world.

Were the earlier `JetLite' titles decals? This seems to have been done on quite a few aircraft. If not, I wonder what prompted JetLite to go in for this new livery, a reasonably cost-intensive operation, in these trying times for aviation?
Cheers, Sumantra. |

WOW! Painting Aircrafts amidst 'Fire n Hires' & Lite's Lay-Offs! Wasn't this
Jet heavy on their Pockets ?

I like the livery, I wonder why everyone finds it regressive. Jet has a livery which has a dark blue portion. Maybe the people at Jet thought Jetlite should have 'lite' blue. |

Probably the same jacka$$ who thought up a creative name like "Jet Airways" for an airline. |

The colors remind me of something but I can't think of what it is. Something like late 70s, early 80s plastic dinnerware? |

the only thing wrong with the scheme is the yucky shade of blue. i guess no one wanted that shade so the paint company let S2 have them for a pittance - otherwise who would be spending money these days on painting planes ??!!
make that blue a few shades darker and you'd have a peach of a livery. |

The dark blue/navy blue paint as used in the JET lettering, instead of the pale blue would have been been very striking and may have counted as one of the better looking liveries flying today.
Dont lose hope guys, there's always a tomorrow! is NG listening? Please..... |

Perhaps if they had kept the original JetLite lettering and put a stylized 9W egg in place it would have been better. This is horrendous, if only because the colors do not mix.
It looks like something a high school freshman would do in photoshop class! _________________ http://openflights.org/user/akumanduri |

Here's my stab at it.... I reckon they chose light blue becuase that's the colour of India.... no? (Think one day cricket team).... so as to keep in the theme of the old Sahara faux patriotism without needing to have the tricolour on the plane...... sorta explains why the retained the saris for jet Lite as well.
I have to say the blue looks silly. The font is fun.. the obsession with the broken egg, somewhat unfortunate....
Atleast its better than naked planes. Oh!! Am I allowed to say naked here? |

I wonder what happened to the "groovy" livery that they had decorated their website with? Too expensive to paint? _________________ India is one of the richest countries in the world.

The livery looks very ordinary. I am flying S2 BOM-CJB on 21 nd return 23 November. Looking forward to experiencing this airline. BTW, I just flew 9W A332 to HKG and back. TR to follow soon _________________ http://airliners1.com
