Spectacular, vt-ala! Low light, high shutter speed, crystal clarity, and beautiful composition. Is this on 28-10? Thanks for sharing this gem!

Is there any truth to the theory that the 321s had 'PP' registrations named after that clown ? |

Great shot Sushank - thanks for that. I've been looking to see how BL727 looks on the inside these days. My Dad flew her in the IAF, the last time was somewhere around 1967 (will have to check his flight logs next time I'm in BOM).
So I take it that one CAN INDEED visit the inside of this AN-12 at the IAF museum ?? |

In a scene that looks straight out of some post-out of some post apocalyptic movie, a 9W A330 gets ready for an evening service, while the T7 would be flying out later in the night. In the background is the construction for the new T3 at DEL.

I have no idea as well. Was wondering if anyone on the forum knew. The DGCA site draws a blank too

Thank you very much indeed 747-237 ...
The cockpit of this bird was really huge and the one thing abt it is that u actually have to climb up 2-3 stairs to be able to sit in the pilot's or co-pilot's chair as behind and under the main instrument panel is space for the navigator to sit....Compared to the two man flightdeck these days,,this one had 5 crewmembers to fly it..!!
I cannot confirm whether they openly allow people inside the aircraft because the day we visited the museum,,there was hardly anybody around,so the attendant might have allowed us due to that...
Anyways,it was so hot and suffocating inside the airplane that had i spent a liitle more time inside,i really would have fainted..!! |

The pictures posted here are excellent. Is the location at Mumbai somewhere around the Andheri- Kurla road?
I remember an article sometime back, that the dargah is a popular place among photographers to click aircraft pictures. |

I thought that Kingfisher had Personal screens on all its aircrafts.
This picture is nice, do you guys do some fine tuning to a clicked image? |

Lovely picture again, Vivek! What is the IFE like on the IT ATRs - the small screens
on top of the cabin, is it non AVOD (looks like it)? If so, what are the programmes like?
Thanks, Sumantra. |

Its non-AVOD and usually programs that dont need audio. Stuff like Just for Laughs, Tom n Jerry etc. The FAs dont distribute head sets during these flights.
The safety demo also happens via this drop down. The lady doing tht is however not Yana Gupta (unlike the 320 safety vidoes) |

Thanks a lot for the information, Balagopal!
Not Yana Gupta - and since you do not name her, it possibly is not Deepika Padukone, either - the two ladies who were Kingfisher's brand ambassadors at two points in time.
I wonder why there is this non-uniformity.
Cheers, Sumantra. |
