very bad news for the INdian Spotting COmmunity.
But i bet most of the spotters here and a certain leading ones have enuogh in their Hard Disks of their computers and in their memory storage devices that they can still keep posting and not run out of the photos from India until the next 2-4 months. _________________ ~~~Indian Aviation Photographers~~~ |

Wow-lovely pictures, Prajay. This must be the first interior shot of `Agra' post-refurbishment. How one wishes that all the fleet were refurbished in the same way! Not to mention the new flying swan livery, too...
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Hey guys:
Sumantra: This was last year when i was landing into BOM from JAI and DEL, this was on approach into BOM, not sure exactly where we were
MEL: The photograph is not edits, infact, this is one of the most difficult part of cockpit photography when its bright outside, basically the camera will either :
a. Measure the exposure to the bright outside (meaning a very dark photograph inside and a reasonably correctly exposed outside) and hence you can just see the outside and not the instruments (as in this picture).
b. Measure the exposure from the inside of the deck, which means the instruments will be bright, but the outside will be over exposed (will be blown out and a bright white).
The trick is, which i have not managed to master is using the flash, if you use the flash, then you can get a right metering, with the outside being exposed as mentioned earlier, but the instruments will be lit up because of the flash.
Again, that is also a two pronged problem, if you use the flash inbuilt in the camera, then you will get a reflection in the instruments and the information on them will not show, so you have to use an external flash to get a good photograph, which will highlight the interior and exterior and show the instruments without the relefction and with all the info showing.
Confusing

Nice shot indeed. Heres a quick edit using Photoshop's shadow highlight.
And 1/3 over exp should show the instruments.
