Hi
I just wanted some of your views on this topic. I have flow SG alot in the last few months and have been very very impressed with their service. here are some points which make me sure that they will be huge one day:
1. Its dirt cheap.... really.. incredible prices.
2. The planes are just great - i mean they are new, smell good, etc.
3. The leg room offered onboard is astonishing, i have flown economy on LOTS of intl airlines and none offer the same leg space are SG does.
4. In the middle of fog (25 dec 06) we were the only ones to take off and land on time.
5. They are very very good with their customer service and PR.
Thats why i think they are gonna survie and crashed in the market.
Yours views
thanks

yes i agree.... very classy even though it is a low cost carrier! specially the staff! very friendly and very well trained! spicejet can take deccans casein a snap! they just need to expand more! and the best is that one can block the seat while booking! not many airlines give that option! so i think its excellent!
cheers! _________________ Flying High.... You and Me...! |

Well SpiceJet certainly seem to be getting investor support from Tatas, in addition to all the passenger reviews.
Only thing is, they seem to have standardised on B-737, while competition like Indigo uses A-320, which simply is bigger inside and just gives the perception of more space.
On seat selection, quite a few have it now - Indigo, GoAir, Jet Airways, Kingfisher . . . Indigo being the oonly one that permits this facility to see and use the seat map before payment, and also Indigo is the only one where you can pre-select the emergency row seats for an additional payment of 100/-.
I do agree, the Spicejet airport staff are crisp and efficient. A study in contrast in Delhi are the SpiceJet and Air Deccan counters, next to each other, and how they move check-in along. |

SG has been the proverbial tortoise in the LCC game which looks like it is going to end up winning the stakes.
I like their slow and steady approach, choosing to consolidate before moving forward. This will take them far.
They are my LCC of choice. And I am sure for many others too. _________________ http://www.cougar-rides.com

LCC,s seem to be really effective if u r a leisure traveller. Ppl like me who often travel for business each time i search for fares available say like a 5-7 days before the travelling date i often tend to find that most of the times full service carriers tkts are cheaper or the difference is like 200-500 ruppess.
thats why i always end up flying a full service carrier _________________ Expeditors- You'd be surprised how far we will go for you www.expeditors.com |
