Hi guys,

Here are some pics from my ongoing working holiday in US. More pics will be added when they are taken (and uploaded).

Please feel free to comment and criticize the photos. Please also offer suggestion on how photos can be taken with less shake (night) using kit lens minus tripod.

Also the photos have been downsized so tht may cause quality drop.

1) Fisherman's wharf, SFO

2) Fire Truck

3)Typical street in SFO

4) Coit Tower

5) San Francisco City

6) Another one of downtown SFO

7) Golden Gate Bridge

8 ) The Westin, SFO

9) Union Square, SFO

10) Bay Bridge, SFO

11) Alcatraz (where the movie, 'The Rock' was based)

12) San Fran Downtown from Alcatraz

13) Yours truly at Golden Gate

14) Union Square at night (Black Friday Sale)

15) Bay Bridge at night (sorry shutter was open for tooo long for me to get a steady shot without a tripod)

16) Financial District, SFO

17) Georgia Aquarium, ATL

18 ) Aquarium, ATL

19) Beluga Whale

20) Another beluga

21) Aquarium

22) Downtown ATL

23) Centennial Park, ATL

24) Centennial Park, ATL Downtown

25) Beginning of Christmas decorations at ATL

Thats it for the moment. Will post more when I have taken more. Just started using my SLR, so please offer suggestions. Thanks

Cheers

Roads expand when hot and contract when cold.
In Canada you have temp variations from -35degsC to +35degsC. I would be surprised if they don't crack.
I don't know about the location of the mentioned picture, but it should be the reason.

Some great night scenes of Tronto. Great city to visit.
Continuing the night theme, heres couple from our Boeing Tour. Eric and I had great supper at Pike's market and then headed to park to shoot the city.

Seattle's famous landmark, SPACE NEEDLE TWR. There is restaurant at top and at bottom too.

Cheers

PS:Is first shot looking towards YYZ?

How'd I miss this thread?

Fantastic pics. Do you have bigger versions?

The cracks in the road is an interesting comment. You'll find cracks in every road in the world. There's simply nothing that can be done about it.

Thanks. Actually the shot is in the NW direction from CN Tower, while YYZ would be in the NE side.
I got carried away by your North American thread and didn't realize that this thread was about US Wink
