Just saw in today's HT in an article about delhi airport's expansion and saw that the new rwy orientation would be 11/29...weren't we getting a parallel rwy to 28/10??
Is this just wrong printing or is this really planned?? |

| The actual orientation is 11R/29L. A parallel Runway does not have to be exactly parallel - 11/29 and 10/28 are close enough. |

Then why havent they stuck to the original orientation? Has the wind direction changed a little after so many years? May be due to Global Warming or something like that.
This kinda runway orientation wont even allow parallel landing in one direction. _________________ Learning never stops, the desire to learn however does. |

I didnt get it. Do you mean to say the two runways are perfectly parallel but their heading degrees are different? _________________ Learning never stops, the desire to learn however does. |
