So I deleted the bad shot out of three which I took.I made him to believe that I removed it Wink .How many of you had this problem with your co-passengers not allowing you to take pics?

Why would the Pax interfere. If you are a scheduled Pax inside an Aircraft & not at a defence Airport. The Pax was probably not aware o the rule. You should have spelt it out Smile

Sorry for the Iran Air shot as it was both raining and wind gusts were too hard and made me shake.

Due to both heavy and hard rain we could not click pictures of SriLankan, Etihad, AirIndia 747-300.

All credit of dedication goes to Yash.

And yes we were walking ankle deep in water to reach our spotting place. The strong gusty winds broke our stag umbrella. Clothes were wet, not the spirit.

Guys,

Although I appreciate your enthusiasm and energy levels, let me caution you that it is really not worth risking life and limb for clicking aircraft photos!

Wading through ankle deep water is one thing, but remember that the dargah hill can become a very treacherous place in the monsoon. The area can become really slippery and one can easily slip and fall if one is not careful.

Please exercise the utmost caution in choosing to go there during the rains.

Remember - we need Quality not Quantity of photographs!

Wish you all the best!!

Thank you vivek, for your advice. We will be careful.

Also, if you notice, instead of putting 7 to 8 pictures of the same aircraft, we put only 1 of the best we think, so that is as far we can speak of quality.

Do let us know if u think we need improvement. Wink

Yash, Birendra,

Can you please make your thumbnails clickable?!? It is no fun trying to hunt down the big image in flickr.

Also per flickr guidelines
---
Remember! Flickr Community Guidelines specify that if you post a Flickr photo on an external website, the photo must link back to its photo page. (So, use Option 1.)
---

Here is your example.

You bet Yash Wink

The Virgin after holding for 30 minutes on Taxiway Alpha 4 went back to the terminal:roll: The problem was identified as a woman called up Virgins office and informed them that her husband, some Nirav Gandhi was trying to flee the country. So it was decided that he would be deplaned. Local media has reported the same.

Sorry due to direct and frenzied rain a shot of the British Airways and Iran Air could not be taken. Crying or Very sad

And the IAF Rajdoot credit goes solely to Sean. He was the one who directed our attention to this one. Smile

Great pics!Yash and Birender, hats of to you both once again for taking lovely pics on a rainy day in MUM.

I guess aviation photography is fast becoming a profession in India with so many airline photos taken on a regular basis from Indian airports.

That dog almost had the taxiway entrant PIA in a frenzy. U should have been there to see the drama.....One pilot vehicle was sent to chase away the dog, and dog aptly managed to roam and dodge the vehicle for a coll 20 minutes. Laughing

Dogs menance on the Tarmac although reduced in the past few months is still a worry for Taxying Aircraft.Very common at the Domestic Tarmac too.
The openings in the perimeter fences are the reason.

Perhaps the word 'profession' here could be replaced with the more appropriate 'hobby', don't you think? Spotting is an immensely pleasurable hobby, what say G-BYGB? Wink

Cheers,
