The national guest finally departs. Lets hope he goes to someplace, worse than Hell!
Hopefully India can now make some useful investments and get the economy working. Properly.

I'm sad they hanged him. He would have died too easily! Pulling out his fingernails, and roasting him on a slow fire for days on end would have been more appropriate.
However, the planet just got a bit cleaner! nice!
I hope this sends the right message to all the f**cktards wanting to achieve greatness by doing jihad of the wrong kind! _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

I'm not a supporter of capital punishment, but I'm glad the matter is finally closed.
And I do like that they told us of the execution after the deed was done, unlike the American-style media and public circuses one sees and reads about.
Oh - nitpicking here - but the verb is "hanged" not "hung". He wasn't a painting. And we don't know the size of his genitalia.

This is a mere trifle..the indian govt lacked the genital apparatus to do even this since 4 years ago ..they could have just crushed pakistan under diplomatic pressure..instead they sought to appease, coax them..and until now, went almost to the extent of opening full bilateral ties..
now, even pakistan would be happy to see the end of this fellow...one less headache ..
In a way, we have destroyed the one living evidence that we had mustered to show against them..Not sure if this sends any message across the border
Just a small consolation for the families of the victims. |

India will have to get battle ready against Pakistan as its local Talibani group has declared that they will target India's prime locations to venge the hanging of Kasab.
This is nothing surprising as such because these sickos will do anythng to impose their will on others. This is just another silly excuse to show their enemity and justification for showing hatred towards Indai.
I pray that the moderate group in Pakistan isolate these terror organizations assertively. _________________ www.flickr.com/G-BYGB photos |

Same here
(neither do I care much for calls of torture or excessive celebration over his death) ..... it's done with. I'm glad we didnt rush into it - who gives a shit if it cost a few mission dollars to keep him alive and fed and legally represented, I'm glad he was. _________________ eP007 |

That's three terrorists gone in a short span now (two big ones and one sidey), with Afzal Guru's hanging.
My view remains unchanged: jasepl wrote: | I'm not a supporter of capital punishment, but I'm glad the matter is finally closed. |

But who will star as Qasab in the Bollywood version?
That's the important question of the day. |

I was being facetious. There really IS a movie?
Who will play the Thackerays who got into their fancy German cars and fled Bombay that night? |

Yes. A shameless piece of opportunism called The Attacks of 26/11 directed by Ram Gopal Verma. You may remember the recce for this, which torpedoed Deshmukh's career as CM.
Apparently this bloke plays Ajmal whatshisname in it, an actor called Sanjeev Jaiswal.
.
Could you share your Thackeray 26/11 anecdote? I wasn't aware they fled Mumbai, though it wouldn't surprise me one jot if that were the case. |
