Hi, planning a trip on the JFK-BOM rte on Delta. Any ideas what to expect on this 15 hour epic ? How's the B777 Y- seat comfort on Delta ?
Also, I heard that the B777 has to make fuel stops westbound sometimes Embarassed . Any experiences ?

Also, what about Food and IFE (I guess they have PTV with a limited choice of movies etc).

Do they also sell duty-free stuff onboard?

Appreciate ur responses.

well they are late arriving and departing on a number of times.. so dont book connecting flights (if any) too tight..

i had family members who travelled out on DL last month.. the flight left half and hour late from BOM and subsequently was a little late into JFK resulting in a lost connection due to the rush at JFK's immigrations, but DL rebooked them on another connection promptly and they continued with no hassles to ATL.

so overall if you can live with the delay due to the nature of this flight.. its ok.

cant comment on the service of DL though since i have no real experience with them nor sufficient feedback from others to write about Smile

Delta? Yuck. You're much better of using the 9W service thru BRU post Aug 2007. The difference will be night and day....

Try EK through DXB pretty good all around for this route.
