A UNI report says that Oman Air, has added Lucknow as its new destination in India and will start its flights from May 3.
There will be three flts a week to Lucknow from May 3, which will be increased to four flights a week from June. Lucknow is the seventh destination of the carrier in India after Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram.
Oman Air will be the first Gulf carrier to operate to Lucknow. |

Lucknow sounds like it might work of Oman Air but wouldn't Bangalore have been a better choice? |

I'm told there are no slots at BLR to be had until next summer (when the new BIAL airport should open). |
