I was passing Mahalaxmi Junction today.

There was the new Jet Ad Banner which says 'We've Changed' with the new uniforms n logo...

Just Above that was a Kingfisher Ad saying 'We made them Change'

I made this on paint to show a rough idea..

I think this is hilarious!!!! But both are sooo obsessed wid each other.

Cheeky! Now if only KF would show some similar smartness and reduce their burn-rate.

9W is a full service carrier with processes that make them operate virtually like a low-cost carrier: they are even cutting costs on distribution! Things like meal service: there has been an attempt to cut costs without compromising standards: a tough call and not completely successful. However costs are being cut reducing their burn.

KF on the other hand is an airline in contrast: burning cash like there is no tomorrow! I wonder how long this is going to last?

Reminds one of the time Coke and Pepsi kept poking each other a few years ago. Most of the ads featured cricketers. To take a simple example:

Cola A shows an ad with Tendulkar and Kambli fighting for a bottle.
Next day Cola B has an ad with another cricketer saying "why fight for it when you can have the real thing?"

Another example: Cola A had a campaign "Eat Cricket. Sleep Cricket. Drink only Cola A"
Cola B then had an ad with Jadeja and Dravid which started with "Kha Liya. So Liya" and then reaching for Cola B.

Kingfisher is a fine carrier, but their advertising and their website is a disgrace.

Especially the website.

It looks like someone from Bhuleshwar or Saki Naaka threw it together while making Chivda.

Totally tacky.

In contrast, Jet Airways has a website that competes with the world's best.
