Kingfisher, says NDTV pROFIT, has terminated its ground handling agreement with IA.
Mallya has been quoted as saying that the Rs. 120 crore deal needed a relook.
Kingfisher will now go in for its own equipment and brand.
IT will however continue to have its aircraft maintenance with IA and share IA's terminals.

Im sure the adequate Experience has been gained by IT.
However the RUMOUR is that Airports in BOM & DEL might be handled by only AI-IC & a private handling agent in future.

Would that mean the current staff employed by airlines would ... what would happen to them? Mostly quit the airline and join that 'agency'?

VJM yesterday along with his son innagurated a restroom for his commercials/operations/Mx staff at BOM airport. Source told me that he's put a lot of expensive stuff out there, almost better than that passenger lounge in terminal 1A

The 9W Mx Hangar at Old Airport has a great setup too.
Good to see Airlines caring for their staff.Technology if available should be used.
