Go Air is launching flights on BOM-MAA-BOM route
Also on sale are flights on MAA-IXZ-MAA and MAA-PNQ-MAA

Looks like they are returning to MAA

G8 already serves IXZ from CCU ( Same aircraft from DEL) and now the same aircraft from BOM

Thats great news..... but instead of filling in the gap that Kingfisher has left in its wake, the silly buggers at GoAir have pitted their flight timings against Indigo and Spice jet Flights. Why fight I-Fly and LiceJet when an entire market awaits to be taken..... KF flyers!!

Might well be the problems of infrastructure at MAA.

IMHO - a small player like G8 should go and occupy HYD - which KF left completely and not go to a place where KF would try everything possible to sustain, like MAA

However, they have gone to MAA. Interesting thing is that, 6E is increasing presence in MAA as well on the same route !

MAA is one of the few large-ish operations that IT has left. I guess the likes of 6E and G8 are trying to land the killer blow sooner rather than later....

Yes, MAA is connected to BOM, BLR, IXZ primarily by IT now.

Interestingly, they pulled out of MAA-DEL and 6E and G8 are not starting that route but focusing on BOM-MAA (6E,GCool and MAA-IXZ ( GCool which clearly indicates their intention to go after KF

and if KF stabilises, they have already sold off their inventory at lower levels so chances of making money are remote !

With 5:20 , this would be the first dep ex-MAA to BOM. the next are 5:25 6E ( goes onwards to DEL )
and SG at 5:45

Strangely, all the three pure LCCs are before the 0600hour and it would be a pain to take those flights. Even arriving into BOM at 7:05/07:15 is a problem if you are a business traveller. You will reach remotest part of Mumbai before the offices open !
