Thanks a for a lively TR, bala
Just one impression I get - those advertisements for UB's alcohol brands look terribly cheap and tacky, I think. Don't know why, maybe it's because we're not used to seeing any advertising in the cabin except on carriers like FR or erstwhile DN, but I think it looks like somebody pasted on a bunch of ads as an afterthought, and it really looks cheap. |

Nice TR. Just in case you are interested, AXH & AXU were in TRV for maintenance. Usually the TRV based acft would be parked in stands 3-5. And the 2 IX birds in MAA were AXR & AXP _________________ Always do everything into wind...... except piss |

Very nice TR.
A silly question here. Were you served any dessert with the mains? Usually in photos we get to see a small cup of white/brown/pink dessert being served on Kingfisher Red flights. As I've never travelled IT Red wondering if they serve tea/coffee? _________________ Aerosexual...! |

The last time I travelled on IT-Red (abt six months ago) they did serve a bowl of fruit pieces as desert along with a hot breakfast. Tea and coffee were included as well. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

Hay The_Goat
Thank you for your response.
Two more days (15 Jan 11) to go before IT Red starts the Buy on Board system. _________________ Aerosexual...! |

A superb TR, in your own nice descriptive style. Catching some nice representative pics, and some nice descriptions. This sure was a nice routing! Yes, TRV has one of the nicest approaches in the world. When coming in from the sea side - the Shangamuganatha beach (I really do not know how to spell it - it is a beautiful beach!), and when coming in from the landside - the sheer vastness of the coconut tree plantations makes the atmosphere quite surreal. Thanks for sharing your nice memories with us, Balagopal!
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Great trip report, but apparently you exceeded the free bandwidth limit on Photobucket and now we can't see the pics. Is there anyway you could re-upload the pics using a different hosting site, like imageshack?
