You haven't seen a tree until you've seen its shadow from the sky.

— Amelia Earhart

I'm sure so many amongst us, at one point of time or the other, might have been bitten by the bug so much that you can't think of anything else than soaring high up in the skies, piloting those Huge Metal Birds/Cessnas/Gliders through the best of Sunrises and beautiful Orange Blue hues. Everytime I wanted to imagine being up there, I had to dig up the old ANet threads and google/Youtube a lot for all these songs! Finally decided to consolidate them all at one place. A Big Thank You to all Anutters, AvCanada, PPRune Forummers for listing them out across various threads! Everytime, they got some great songs in..

And here is a B I G Thank You to you all, Airliners-India forummers. This has been a wonderful place, fights or no fights! You've kept me still going. I might have slowed down a lot after KCM's departure, but it still goes on at the same speed in my veins! \m/

So here are they, some have been included for lyrics, some for the emotions and some that keep you motivated, pumped up all the time! I'm born in the late 80s, never listened to English before 2006. Had to dig these out..

Nice list you have there.

Not really aviation related but there is a nice C-47/DC-3 featured in the song 'Breathless' by The Corrs. It always feels good to see it, particularly when it takes off at the end, sputtering away.
I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).
