If reports are to be believed then Air India Express will soon announce new non stop CCU-BKK daily flights. This flight will carry on to KUL 3 times a week and to SIN the remaining 4 times. Return flights from KUL and SIN will be via BKK. With this addition BKK will see 4 daily services from CCU, the current ones being IC , 9W, TG (currently 5xweekly but daily from end March 07) apart from a 5x weekly A319 service by Druk Air.
Also strong possiblities of BA and SQ announcing enhancement of services. While BA is expected to go daily, SQ is expected to add one flight to make it 5 times a week. BA is known to be doing brilliantly on their LHR-CCU route and SQ is known to be doing reasonably well.
Any comments will be appreciated. |

Wow - that's pretty impressive, especially the multiple dailies to BKK. Is there some particular link between these 2 cities/states (CCU and BKK)? |
