Using a Radio reciever is legal.
However to operate a Transreciever one needs a Radio licence for the unit & the individual.

Definitely worth it - seems like a great scanner (esp if you get the version with the charger and rechargeable batteries), and retails for around $170-$200 in the US. _________________ We miss you Nalini! |
