Maybe a step closer to the merger as both will end up having same standards.
Friend just came back from BKK in IC Exec. this is what he got:
Not just a pouch!!!
The contents inside: Ear plugs, comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, mouthwash, shaving cream and shaving blades, body lotion and the thing in the bottom is something that u can put in your eyes and sleep (dunno what it is called)
*I can remember my dad getting something almost like these when he flew AI J class to CDG and FRA.
My friend got two so i kept one from him _________________ http://www.myspace.com/avsatsworld

Probably the govt is planning to equalise the intl standards of both these airlines...
Also btw the most probable name for the merged airline is INDIAN AIRWAYS _________________ http://www.myspace.com/avsatsworld

I'm all for increasing standards, but you get more or less the same stuff when you fly BA sitting at the back Nothing to be really excited about (apart from the fact that it's an improvement, a tiny improvement, but an improvement nonetheless)
Indian Airways... ooooo boy _________________ eP007 |

Normally flying at the back all you'd get is a tooth brush, socks and an eye-mask, no lotions/combs etc. Or did you have a better Y experience on BA? |

I hope IC further improves their international product by offering PTVs and decent inflight shopping in addition to these amenities.
The merger changes all of this of course! |

Right you are, with BA you get the eye mask, socks and toothbrush-toothpaste.
So Indian (so called fancy J class) gives you ear plugs, lotion and a comb extra . That’s why I said you get more or less the same stuff _________________ eP007 |
