Today morning there was a news flash on CNN IBN that there was a bird hit on Jet lite flight while landing in Bangalore.Luckily all the passengers were safe.

Bird Hits are very common.
A Bird Ingestion can be a serious affair depending on the type of bird involved.
Although to add If the Bird Hit is on a LE control surface it can be an AOG.Depending on results of the impact.
