Nice to see a Air Asiatic bird. I remember their ad that came in early 90s. Any info on their fleet and routes they operated?! |

The aircraft above (N63AF, planned to be VT-ERN) was their fleet. They never got off the ground ! _________________ 11000 posts (and counting) on Airliners-India.

Air Asiatic flew with one B732 for three months before folding up in 1992. _________________ Think of the Brighter side !!! |

They did operate for a few months. IIRC they did the BOM-HYD-MAA sector. I don't think they got any Do228s. Only that one flowery Fokker which to got grounded within a couple of months. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

They had one F27 flying for sometime....This Flowered livery F27 did not fly as the required docs were not in place,and they also had a B0 grounded in some place too. _________________ Think of the Brighter side !!! |
