Excellent trip report. Really enjoyed reading it.
As usual some a.net chaps are calling you high maintenance for criticizing UA's service. |

Awesome TR, with a very apt title!
Absolutely disgusting service from UA. I guess their goal was to just get people from Point A to Point B in the most unpleasant manner. They probably need to take a leaf out of the Indian, European & Middle-Eastern airliners books (some of them can still get better) on how take care of guests on board. _________________ Best regards,

I guess the entire experience was unsavoury.
The inadvertant delay.
The racial security check at MUC.
Pax hogging resting areas at MUC.
The racial cabin crew on board, and their inconsistencies, and irritating chat.
Possibly dirty pillow, headphones and blanket.
Those tiny unresponsive and slow IFE screens.,
Bad food. Not unsurprising.
Dirty lav.
On the report itself: yet another wonderful set of descriptions and pictures!
The MUC spotting, wing and cloud pictures, and the aircraft shadow!
One can feel your discomfort by the vivid way you have described things.
Racial people at A.net. `Comes to the US to study from an economically weaker country, and criticises US airlines, how dare he?'
One reason most of us do not patronise this site very actively.
However, kudos to you for calling a spade...nothing else.
On their faces (his, in this case). It is reassuring to see the general support you got!
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Thanks bud! Should've put this title on the TR itself, then the real snowflakes would've been triggered

For the price I paid, I expected just a tad more. Edible food, and a less racist crew. Other than that, I got from point A to be B delayed by 32 minutes, so I guess I can't be too unhappy _________________ http://www.youtube.com/c/JishnuBasu777 |

Its just what it is, sir. Not all flights can be as great as the ones I have been on. Law of averages, perhaps. However, a racist crew is just unacceptable.

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed reading this flight report

I do not see this reply anywhere sir. It has perhaps been deleted, or you have seen it elsewhere. Could you link me to it, please?
I guess the land of the free doesn't allow free speech after all!
With that being said, by and large people have been quite disappointed with United in this respect, and have recommended me to take up with United, and I will be doing so.

Yikes
- but yea that’s always the risk of booking different airline connections
- nice to see 3-3-3. Some consolation
- 8 hours to kill? All airports will fall short unless you get a room.
- crew in general are very bad at keeping their conversations quite. Not defending them at all .... but I hate the seats next to crew seats. I’d rather have a middle seat somewhere else than a window next to their crew jump seats.
- channel 9 was the only reason I liked UA long haul. I still remember the hyper arrival into IAD
- to be fair, having Wifi on board is pretty neat. We’re used to it everywhere but it’s not the same especially on an older aircraft. I’m not talking about cost, but the seamless usage. Can’t complain much about spotty WiFi on an old 77E and if you banked on that for your inflight entertainment you have only yourself to blame imo
- the flight attendants attitudes ... what to say
- the 777 ability to make up time .... yea sure _________________ eP007 |

That;s true...
[quote="stealthpilot"- nice to see 3-3-3. Some consolation [/quote]
Seats felt so much wider than the A346!

How I missed having a little bit of extra money...

That's fair!

Man, they really threw away this asset (of some sort)

For they money they charged it could've been of better service. LH was cheaper and so much better. As for EY, they were more than decent, too.
