I was tracking the Malindo flight from TRZ to KUL last night and was surprised to find it take a northerly route out of TRZ ,almost upto the coastline of Orissa and then go east.

Not sure if it is weather related as all other flights to KUL seemed to take the more direct route. Is it to do with ETOPS? |

The same aircraft (9M-LNH) on the same route on another day seems to take the more direct route
