Frog legs !
Troll Under the Bridge...holding his VW Beetle!
Gum wall...a lot of chewing gum...disgustingly interesting!
An epic gooey chocolate-y dessert!
A final meal before heading for the airport!
In the next part - a debut with Alaska Airlines!

...a fascinating Part 2!
I guess I have been lucky enough to see the B-29 Superfortress without the white shroud on, on my visit to the place. But that was more-or-less it, since I remember the B-47, and the Presidential VC-137 being outside, then.
You have taken some lovely snaps of the B-17 and the Concorde from different points of view!
How did it feel inside this Dream)liner, given that you have travelled in commercial versions of the same?
Interesting pictures to end this trip report...I was only able to see Mt. Rainier from a great distance away. Thanks for a lovely TR, once again: just one parting question: how quiet was it around Mt. Rainier? in case you have video of the Mt. Rainier trip, it would be lovely if we could hear the natural sounds amidst the quiet solitude.
Thank you, Sumantra. |

Thanks again, sir! The B-29 looked to be in renovation, it would be opened up after a while..that's what the signs said close by!
The Dream)liner on display without the lights/sounds felt very strange! Seeing it in commercial use, onboard one, surely felt much better! This Dream)liner was also really very warm, but I guess that's because the air con systems were disabled anyway. The rear section of the plane was completely empty because that's where the data collection systems were placed at.
Sadly, I do not have a video of the scenes around Mt. Rainier.
I must say, the silence was absolutely satisfying, and I would surely return there, for a hike or two!
Regards
