Posting another of my old TRs which appeared on Airliners.Net . Apologies for the terrible typos in the original report. Before anyone suggest to go for a refresher course in spelling, this was a trip done duing my graduate studies in UK after clearing IELTS with a 8.5 in Writing so I guess it was one of those days.
Interestingly when I booked the trip, the return leg originally was to be on a CRJ - the 50 seat one . But it was changed at the last minute as Flybe was phasing out the aircraft which had already found a new home ... Air Sahara. So it was Q400s both ways, an aircraft which I have flown a lot in the last two years along with its older siblings the 300 and the 200.
Here goes....

Once again Sir, a lovely TR, with some recent comments! Do we not love such gems from you, that too, doused with your characteristic humour?
I guess by now you would have got bored of the Q4s, but the type is still a delight for many of us, India! There is a distinct possibility of SpiceJet phasing out its Q4s, in favour of a single-type fleet. The captain's announcement on the first leg was a nice gesture. `sharpened elbows' ha ha! Thank you for a nice TR on a slightly uncommon sector (for most of us in India, at least!).
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Crisp and short, nice TR (even the amusing typos )
I like the captain being honest about the delay reason, I agree it's much better that way.
Too bad about the smaller CRJ being swapped with the Q400, both nice to fly I guess _________________ eP007 |
