I thought I would share this with people on this forum.

Being based in Chandigarh, which has traditionally been a very sleepy airport, it was a shock to find out (about 2 years ago) that a local politician, i.e. KD Singh (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K._D._Singh_(politician) ) had purchased a Gulfstream jet. (His two sons are notorious for their endless passion for cars which include a Ferrari 458, a Lamborghini, an Aston Martin, A Rolls Royce, etc.

KD Singh is also known for his Alchemist group of companies which includes Alchemist Aviation.

Having an ADS- B radar, I would very often see the Gulfstream which is registered N707KD flying in and out of Chandigarh. No doubt this plane is old, almost 35 years old so it was a third or fourth hand purchase. Most likely, the reason to keep this bird off the VT reg was to avoid customs and / or other taxes. A common move in the past, which the MoCA and the DGCA are cracking down hard on.

While working with a Client a few days ago who wanted to have a similar structure, I thought I would check up on N707KD and see whether there was any news around about the bird.

You will be shocked to see what I found: Allegedly, 2 American pilots, flew her to the Honduras, disembarked and have vanished! The plane now either rests in the Honduras or has been moved to another location (there are conflicting reports).

There is something very shady going on.

Regards

Is the plane still owned by KD Singh? Or has it been sold to that Florida based company mentioned in the article?

By the way, colourful chap this KD Singh seems to be. Been involved in scams as well.
