Whatever one may say about her corruption and high handed ness, she will go down in history as one of the strongest women in Indian politics.

She fought many battles and won most of them, almost single handedly. In her death, India has lost a tough, astute and intelligent politician.

I recently watched her old interview with Simi Garewal. She came across as a very straight forward smart person, not as I had expected. Looks like a real loss for TN. R.I.P.
