I know there arent many technical fellows out here but still Id like to know what do you do when grease does not come out from the vent during lubrication inspite of numerous attempts?
Ive tried many things such as increasing the pressure, removing dirt with very few successful results. I just want to know the approved procedure.

As long as you are sure that the grease is going in thru the greasing point i.e. Grease gun shows progressively lower quantity of grease on pumping action.

Sometimes the grease vent path could be blocked due to previous contamination etc If it is critical point that you are greasing i.e a landing gear bearing, bring it to the attention of the LAE and suggest to him raising a ADD (deferred defect) item in the tech-log, to check the greased point after a few cycles.

A few years back i had to replace a GLAND-NUT on a A300-600, the greasing points were blocked due to mixing of grease i.e. Synthetic grease and mineral based grease. On removal the gland-nut showed evidence of severe pitting with the greasing channels blocked. It was a matter of time before it would have started chipping the chrome on the LDG.

Not sure what you mean by vent.

The Idea is to ensure that the Grease flows to the desired location vide the grease point & exits from the areas after it passes through.I presume you are talking aeroshell 33 here.

The grease nipples can be blocked due to dirt & previously dried grease.Try cleaning it with locking wire,or replace the nipple.
