Saw her today at BOM! She was on the cargo ramp, while our IC 166 BOM-DEL was heading for runway 14-32. 22.01.2011. What a coincidence-my wife who had a window seat, had commented that this looked like a large unusual aircraft!

A question: do the engines not look as if they are in a 744? Or has this particular 742 been re-engined? I remember that 744Fs have the 742-ish hump on top (to conserve space), and one of the best identifiers are the engines.

It is a 742F. 744Fs have winglets. The one in Sean's picture has the typical 742 wingtips, with the long static discharge spike.
