Dec. 21, 9.30 p.m.
Source in Air India says that the Mo Civil Aviation and Air India have been tipped off by the U.S. State Department on possible disruptions and changes in flight paths over West Asia in 2007 because:
US feels Iran is getting out of hand and needs some Iraq treatment. US is planning to move the Seventh Fleet closer to Iran area, and by early Jan 2007 and is sending in one more aircraft carrier also. This is to send warning signals.
Source says it just an advisory and given in advance (maybe because of better Indo-US ties) |

I have been feeling for quite some time that US might invade Iran as:
(1)Iran is possessing nuclear arms
(2)Iran is a good fuel generating country
(3)US wants a strong grip over Middle East
With respect to above points and an excuse of Nuclear weapons, US might invade Iran.
But sadly its the common man who'd suffer the most, scene will be equally as bad as in iraq or maybe worse or hopefully less... hunger, thirst, pain, sorrow, death and anger will again evolve in the minds of the Jihads against the non-Muslims _________________ http://www.myspace.com/avsatsworld

I dont think US should invade Iran, its resources are stretched too thin already with Iraq and most Americans dont want another Iraq on their hands _________________ Geniuses are always misunderstood in their lifetimes. |

Most of the Americans are against the war in Iraq and we saw that in their mid term election where the Democrates won the majority in both houses of Congress.I don't think they will invade Iran right now.But they will impose sanctions and isolate Iran from the ROW. _________________ www.flickr.com/G-BYGB photos |

True. But I don't think Iran will really give a damn about sanctions. They are pretty much self sufficient.
IMO a country like that is good to keep the Israelis in check. They are another bunch of idiots who like Americans think the world is made for them only.

UN has voted to impose sanctions against Iran.
Let's hope there is no war now. |

Here is the article:
UNITED NATIONS - The UNSC voted unanimously Saturday to impose economic sanctions on Iran for refusing to end a uranium enrichment program that the United States says is aimed at building nuclear weapons. Iran immediately rejected the resolution.
The result of two months of negotiation, the resolution orders all countries to stop supplying Iran with materials and technology that could contribute to its nuclear and missile programs. It also would freeze Iranian assets of key companies and individuals related to those programs.
If Iran refuses to comply, the resolution warns Iran that the council will adopt further nonmilitary sanctions.

I don't think there will be war. Sanctions are enough to bring them back to the original track.
Remember how North Korea was behaving before sanctions? Now it wants sanctions lifted off!
After all every country is not India... who stood against all sanctions _________________ http://www.myspace.com/avsatsworld
