AIR INDIA is an old and best airline.
I want to ask some questions from you.
1-Before NAMASKAAR magazine, was AI having inflight magazine?
2-When NAMASKAAR was launched as inflight magazine?
3-Presently who is publishing NAMASKAAR magazine?
4-Is AIR INDIA still having CORPORATE magazine?
5-Is AIR INDIA still having DURPAN magazine?
6-The total magazines available aboard AIR INDIA flights. |

Err... AI magazines are 'Swagat'! Not Namaskaar!
And, if I am not mistaken, they are published by 'Media Transasia Publications'... _________________ Causal Determinism : We are hardwired to need answers. The Caveman who heard a rustle in the bushes and checked out to see what it was, lived longer than the guy, who assumed it was just a breeze.

CMYK Printech won the bid to publish Namaskar in 2008. They have a contract to print the magazine until 2011. _________________ Aerosexual...! |

Air India has been publishing
its in-flight magazine – NAMASKAAR since 1980. The monthly magazine,
produced bi-lingually in English and Hindi, is available to passengers on
all international flights of Air India for onboard reading and it does not carry the silly message found on the Spicejet magazine that passengers should not take the magazine along when de-planing.

Pics from my last trip on IC from BLR to TRV via MAA.
The safety card
Swagat - the IC inflight magazine
Errata Galore!! The IC route map is a cartesian's worst nightmare!! Turns out IC operates to a city called "Trivandrum", while AI operates to another on called "Thiruvananthapuram". Plus cities have randomly moved places - Pune is closer to NAG than BOM. BLR is where IXE shud be and TRZ shifted closer to the original BLR
IC didnt spare the world either. DMM has been graciously gifted to Egypt!! its not like a misplaced printing. RUH and JED are in their right places. Dont even get me started on Europe.
More tectonic shifts - IC/AI style

Mods, can this thread be shifted in the 'Aviation Hobby' section, because as I see it, it hasn't got much to do with Civil Aviation or rather has got a lot more to do with Aviation Hobby!

I tend to agree with Rishul.
Any thread on collectibles - models, post cards, mags, tags etc. shud be in the Hobby section. |
