so even in the new terminal we have to board the bus and then go to the a/c or is it direct entry via jet bridges. _________________ ~~~Indian Aviation Photographers~~~ |

6 aerobridges, thats it, technically this 1C in not a terminal, it's just a boarding concourse, that in the pic is everything there is in this terminal... It is also used exclusively for Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines mainline flights... _________________ Causal Determinism : We are hardwired to need answers. Keep an eye out for Kam Air Cargo's two newly acquired DC-8 freighters, YA-VIB & YA-VIC. They just might be coming to VIDP in the near future. Would be good to catch the old smokeys in India. _________________ 11000 posts (and counting) on Airliners-India.

Saw the same bird, last thursday, was taxing past the domestic terminal and waiting in queue for take off. Just looking at the occupied windows, showed that the flight was carrying pretty good loads, i guess there are around 4 flights on that sector |

I actually thought it was an ice cream cart going down the taxiway! But then, I would have been less surprised had I spotted the Concorde taxiing down CW2 at DEL. But here it is, an autogyro of all things! Poor fellow was made to land on Rwy 29 and taxi the entire distance to the general aviation apron. Even the with 77W in the distance, that thing is just tiny! Sorry for the poor image quality - I only had a wide angle lens.

Nice pic Sean, however you mentioned in the remarks that she crashed landing in heavy rain? I thought the weather was good, good visibility and dry? _________________ eP007 |
