Thanks!
Vinish, not exactly Sabhan. The location involved a little off-roading to get to. But pretty close to the Sabhan expressway.
Raj, the aircraft was stationary at that spot before the jetway extended to reach the door. _________________ Yeah. |

The SXM of India!
Flying in for runway 09 and far too low, but I am not complaining Any lower, and this place would have become the St. Marteens of India! What you see below is the Western Express highway, and running parallel to it is the Western Railway (not visible). Later that week, I happened to be driving down this same stretch of road, when a Jet 77W appeared out of nowhere and to my astonishment was still lower than this, and flew RIGHT OVER us. I was doing about 75-80, and could only see the triple for a fraction of a second. What an amazing feeling! Mom sitting besides me was literally stunned!
Regards,
Aalok

Great catch, Aalok. Could you also reproduce the text you put on the JP site below the thumbnail? I am sure that will interest people who may not click on it, and read more. The T7 story is equally interesting!
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Thanks Sumantra and Yash, I am glad that you liked it. Sumantra, I have done what you asked for. Yash, it might not be a good idea to do this at JMari, there are cops all over!

Just thought of taking a break from all the Singapore shots, and doing my bit for the A4 (now N1) community!

vivekman, isn't it time you pass on the work of "A4N1" to the new generation?
I think you might as well present a Nikon camera to "neelman" and let him start clicking A4 shots |

The "rare russian plane at the side of this cargo" is the AN-22 Antei. Any idea what she was doing at BOM in 2004 ? _________________ 11000 posts (and counting) on Airliners-India.

I shot this one landing at BOM on the 5th of May 2007, the day Jet put the 77W into service.
