Hi,
I'm new here and nice to know all the Indian Aviation enthusiasts in one place.
I have been fascinated by aviation and always wanted to become a Pilot. I'm from India and have been trying to gather information for a good flight school.
I previously checked various schools and had shortlisted flight schools in UK and Australia. I had checked out CTC Wings but I was wary of they accepting an Indian national.
I recently found out that, CTC Wings are coming to India. I have applied online in their website. Has anybody applied to them?
And their program looks really good. I checked out various flight schools in India and even cost wise CTC Wings program seems to be better. Flight Schools in India offer packages which does not include MEIR or a frozen ATPL. And CTC Wings aircraft are much better equipped than the Indian Counterparts. I would love to train in the Glass Cockpit and the price difference is not big.
Any feedback?
Thanks. |

CTC coming to India.thats a first.but if you intend to become a pilot u should have a back up plan.
i remeber during my infant days when i was in the same position as u are in now somebody told me that they going to start JAA training at jandakot(i think there is a school there now that offers them).but it got delayed i was bummed out since i didnt have a backup school to go to.so i had to do my homework all over again.
remeber in aviation u got to have redundancy.anyway nothing happens the way u plan it.u will learn this the hard way.
all the best.
cheers.
PS:-do ur homework befoe u choose a flying school.now dont ask me suggest me a flight school.thats a choice u got to make.
Good luck.
and Jandakot is in australia if anyone was wondering |

Thanks for clarifying, all this time I was thinking about Rajkot, Pathankot,......Jandakot. _________________ India is one of the richest countries in the world.
