Happy Diwali all - its been a very hectic Diwali this year, what with so much socializing and cards playing - it's been very tiring. But all good things come to an end, and so it is with this year's social season!

For once, Diwali was on the weekend (for those living outside India or in countries where Diwali is a scheduled holiday). It allowed us to celebrate in a grand manner. |

Agreed. Though if it is on a weekday then my family just celebrates it on the weekend. It is definitely better to celebrate it on the actual day itself though.
