Any responses will be appreciated

deaphen, its a nice opportunity that you have got.
It would be even better if photography is allowed.
BTW, what exactly is the objective of the fleet review? _________________ MRVC Mania. My blog dedicated to the new violet-white suburban rakes of Mumbai. |

JAMMU: India's Mi-35 attack helicopters would for the first time fly in Chandigarh sky, performing combat air patrol during the Presidential review of the IAF fleet on March 7.
The display by Mi-35 helicopters, which has a capacity to carry 1.5-ton bombs, 128 rockets, has a combat range of 160 km and can fly at a speed of 310 km per hour, will be a highlight of the 4th Presidential review to be held at Chandigarh Air Force Station, a defence spokesman said here on Sunday.
Among other action, by IAF's special force "Garud", would be special heliborne operations by Mi-17, besides helibatics by "Sarang" team using Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopters and Suryakiran aerobatic team using Surya Kiran trainer jets.
IAF's Su-30 aircraft would perform "trishul" manoeuvres while the Il-78 would show their refuelling operation with two Mirages plugged in, the spokesman said.
Another unique feature of the fly-past, to be reviewed by President A P J Abdul Kalam, would be the Jaguar formation in which 17 aircraft would fly in close proximity marking a figure of 75 -- signifying the 75 years of IAF, he said.
The last ceremonial Presidential review was held in 1976, the spokesman said adding, both static and air displays of the IAF's entire fleet would be taking place during the parade.
The aircrafts and systems that would be on static display will include MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-29, Jaguar, Donier, Avro, AN-32, Il-76, Chetak, Cheetah, Dhruv ALH as also radars and missile systems.
The flying display would comprise fly-pasts by Mi-17, Mi-26, ALH, Chetak, Cheetah, Mi-35, HPT-32, mixed formation of Avro, AN-32, Dorniers, Bisons, MiG-29, Mirage-2000 and Jaguar. |

Aseem, have seen their display at last year's AF day parade. And deaphen it's worth watching this display. I thoroughly enjoyed this myself. At that low altitude the sound of the engine is fantastic.
If anyone has heard Bullet motorcycle, the sound that it makes, multiplied 50 times. Really awesome. You have to be there to feel the pulse of it. Btw Mi-35 are based in Suratgarh AFB (Rajasthan).
Cheers
