COK for its ethnic look,
BOM 1-B for its chic.
PNQ-for its cozy feel. Although it is terribly inconvenient from an operational standpoint. |

Begumpet???
Fantastic location in terms of accessibilty - but I thought domestic departure was rather cramped and international even more so!! |

Looks cramped. But was quite fine. There aint many intl. stuff coming there, so like that its fine. And domestic is also fine. It was efficent. Gopi and frineds (DN-SG-G8 flts) often made a clog like situation at times, but was ok. Moreover, I have a childhood bond with that airport.
HYD didn't wait till it became a choked drain like BOM. A very smart move by opening the Shamshabad. If you see, Begumpet was also like a outskirt in the Nizam time.
As VOHS is now capable handling many flights at a time, less tax-fuel*, less holding time and efficient taxiway system, no carrier has pulled flights from there AFAIK. I haven't flown offlate to HYD, but im sure VOHS's efficency and all will supersede the depressive sight of a closed VOHY. |

For domestic? probably GOI, although it was back in 2000. I remember it was uncrowded, easy to use, and we were out of there in 20 minutes.
I also liked Begumpet, although it wasn't as nice as GOI, it was acceptable in terms of accessibility, ease of use, and time in the airport. _________________ http://openflights.org/user/akumanduri |

Mumbai CSIA : Terminal 1A & 1B.
With the addition of the new aero-bridge service, the domestic terminal is definitely world-class. _________________ The more I fly 9W, the more I prefer AI | FlightDiary: 59 Boeing + 30 Airbus + 9 ATR + 1 Embraer |
