Hi Sushank,

First off, love your shots! Great work man Very Happy

The shot of your Spicejet over MAA is really nice. Just curious, what Landclass are you using for Chennai and which night light effects?

Thanks,

Dinshaw.

Hey Dinshaw, thanks a lot .. Very Happy Very Happy
For the landclass m using this file from ww.avsim.com --- "india_76m-mesh_part_a.zip". And for the night lighting m using this wonderful addon-- "Zinertek Night Environment". Plus a lil help from PS... Wink

Hi Sushank,

Thanks for the reply. I use the FS Global 2008 for Mesh and LC, but not too happy with the Chennai LC. Will try and see if the India Mesh file is better. I also have the Zinertek files but do not use it. Will reinstall and see if it makes it nicer. Also, I use a file from AVSIM which make the runway lights, PAPI's etc much dimmer. I cant tell you how realistic it looks, rather than them really standing out. Especially, when turning from base to finals, they come very subtly into view, much like in real life. Will try and tell you which file it is.

I so wish we had some good addon scenery for India. On the Simflight India forums you can see some development shots for VOMM that are about 2-3 years old. Wonder what happened. If the developer could give the files to somebody who is a designer and they can finish it, that would be awesome.

Cheers and happy simming,

Dinshaw.

Hey Dinshaw, i think the file library is down at avsim, its not opening. Will look for the file as soon as the library is up. I have a lot of other addons for the general environment in fs-
1.Zinertek World environment
2.Zinertek Night Environment
3.Real Environment Professional (Freeware and i would highly recommend this)
4.Flight Environment by Flight1
5.Ground Environment by Flight1.

Yea even i hope that some developer like FlyTampa, Aerosoft etc notice that there hasn't been any scenery for any of the indian airports and come up with some lovely scenery. That Chennai project is i think dead, i used to frequently visit the forums for any news on the chennai project but realised that it has been left. Sad

btw, what aircrafts do you fly and do you fly online as well..?
Cheers
Sushank

Hey Sushank,

No, I dont fly online, although I think I should start, but rarely get time. Fed up of MS ATC and its wierd vectors Smile

I normally fly the PMDG 737, MD11 and on occasion the 747. Also, the LDS 767 on rare occasions. Awaiting the Airsimmer A320 eagerly. Hardly fly in India though, mainly Europe, thoroughly spoilt by Aerosoft and AES Smile Wishing and praying for a good Indian Scenery.

Cheers,

Dinshaw.

Hey HamiltonAir, that is not a scenery for Chennai, its just the mesh..it just updates the terrain in your flight simulator according to the satellite data taken.

Wow, then you fly the same aircrafts as me... Wink
Even i have installed several sceneries and occasionally do fly there, you should see the amount of traffic on Vatsim in Europe at night, it'll really make you sweat. I have just flown once or twice when the traffic's been that much, it really becomes busy.
Even m waiting for the Airsimmer A320, earlier had been waiting for the AirlinerXP one, but nevertheless, at least someone is going to make a close to real life simulation of the airbus A320. Very Happy Very Happy
