Dear A-I.net members,

I am currently undertaking a sectoral analysis about the relationships between the ATF prices, capacity deployed and number of passengers deployed with the help of empirical data.

I know DGCA releases the data about number of passengers travelled. I had a couple of doubts regarding the same:
1) How accurate is this data?
2) Also, is there any one single source where I could get data about Indian aviation from?
3) It would be great if any one from the industry could provide any valuable tips about how to go about it from any prior experience.

Regards,
Prathamesh Kini

Hi,
I would assume the DGCA data is indeed accurate.
For what its worth, the CAPA website is a good place to get info. Again, sorry but I don’t know how accurate it is. It does throw up interesting numbers from time to time tho.

If you search the Civil Aviation section member sri_bom posts some nice CAPA material

DGCA data would be the most accurate.Else you need to catch concerned persons from each airline but I doubt they would share this data.

Thanks guys,
Also, could you'll also help me by suggesting any websites which would throw up data related to historic global ATF fuel prices?

Awaiting your response...
