Nitin,

Excellent pics. Great job.

I really want to see A340-600 take off one day. With it's size it almost looks impossible.

Do PIA's fly 747's into BOM? That's surprising.

What routes are the A-300 still flying with IC. Maybe next time I come to India, I should just take A-300 run on IC just for the heck of it. (Never been on one, and I missed being on L1011)

BEST BACKDROP -
UPS freighter taking off (on runway). The skyscrapers on the back look cool. May be 10 yrs. down the line BOM will be the new Kai Tak. Laughing

Hey Nitin,

I liked the IC A300 picture. Your pics make BOM better than what it actually is especially with the Hiranandani Complex sky scrapers in the back ground.

I think fly the 200 (?) here. A regular visitor here. I have seen it a couple of times from Juhu Beach in the evenings.

Thanks gusy for the comments.... prajay... thats is insane that it was in DEL on the 17th... she is quite a beautiful old bird. And plus those colours really do make her very attractive.

I have spotted at DEL for a long time and rarely do you come across interesting traffic... however, i loved BOM, there is always something interesting going on there. You can never get bored.

As for the VS 346, both Saurabh and i were totally purplexed when we saw two virgin tails at BOM, then we argued about whether it was a 343 or 346, but ofcourse, saurabh was correct once again! Plus we called up VS to check and they told us tha the previous days fligth had been cancelled and hence they had the 346 on that route.

Interesting fact is that the next day i was flying back to DEL and the 346 landed on 14 right in front of us.. it was such a magnificent sight this huge magestic bird just gliding down and crashing onto the ground! Just beautiful we got some videos of the VS 346 taking off which i shall upload soon.

I cant wait to go spotting with you vivek.. its always good to get new angles into your shots... so maybe the next time im in BOM we could head out. Vishal too has a great spot of spotting.

All hale to BOM!

regards
nitin
