I am a bit confused about this design



How are the going to do this?
Can this handle future's big planes Such as Wing bodied aircrafts?(I couldn't get its pic.Can someone please post it?

This is one hell of a futuristic design mate... I guess they dnt want the airplanes to be soaked wet during the rainy season Wink

Single central railway system.... drop off at the required gate (from left or right door of the train) and take the aero bridge to the aircraft.. seems simple superficially!

But the problem may happen when..

Train is too small for say 15 X 777/747/330/340/380 pax

All doors open at all gates

Length of the train overlaps 2 adjacent gates or worse on both sides (4 gates) wont work in india where even executive class passengers run towards aircraft with an pre-assigned seat number Laughing

Believe me.This is one design that Maintenance would like especially in the Rainy season.

Apparently not!!!!!

Its a proposal for a NY airport. There a discussion on anet regarding this.
