Source in 9W said that 9W is interested to start BOM-BKK by Nov. '07 or before that if possible. They might deploy their latest A332 on that route.
Else the other possibilties are the new A332 might be deployed in DEL-BKK if they get a good load factor. Then BOM-BKK might be oeprated in the B73Hs _________________ http://www.myspace.com/avsatsworld

Does anyone know how DEL-BKK is currently doing, in terms of loads?

Jet is interviewing for command and P2 for the 330, and guess what, they are offering the same salary as a 737/320 commander. WOW now i would wonder, why they don't have many applicants for this post!
When asked why, the answer is "Imagine the wide-body experience you will get".....Yeah right! Is Jet always this arrogant |

I hope they get their reality dose soon. A friend of mine in Singapore went back to join Jet, she was given a raw deal on the 737 and now they're not allowing her to go for the 330. What a shame considering she was P2 on the 747 and went back just to be with the love of her life. |

It looks like they gave loads of verbal promises to hire her (A Singapore PR is worth a lot for the BOM-SIN & DEL-SIN flights), she was in Modiluft and had piror (valid) ratings for the 737 so had to do a minor cabin familiarization for the 738. The worst part is moving from long haul to 'glorified' short haul and then getting short changed. anyways, she got her papers in and should be out by Dec 31st (the 6mnth notice rule) with airlines waiting in line to pick her up in command. |

Verbal assurances dont matter as person giving them may not be around.

Completely, but in this case the people are still around, but just made her run around the bush for no reason at all. Thank goodness she at least got married. Do you think Blue Dart will have place for her? She's type rated on the 744's and 772's with SQ. She needs Mumbai as her base. or if you know anyone in AI who can help.... |

Job troubles for pilots wow and i thought nowdays its the pilots who have dollars raining on them.
DEL-BKK loads on TG are just too Good. Infact in August when i flew them while coming back to DEL which is suppose to be a horrible month to visit Thailand thanks to heat and humidity 14 people were asked to volanteer for taking the flight next day as there was an overbooking..
But again thanks to AI an avg indian carries a notion that Indian carriers are horrible on international sector hence tend to give preference to international airlines
Anyways lets see hw does 9W fair in this one _________________ Expeditors- You'd be surprised how far we will go for you www.expeditors.com |

Blue Dart has HO in MAA & operates B732SF & B752SF only. One could still try. However it would be mainly Night Flying & the B732SFs are being phased out, soon it'll be B752SF only or B762SF in future.
Why not try IT.

Jet Airways has said that it will expand its international operations with new flights to Bangkok in late January and flights to the United States late this year.
Jet said that is plans to launch a regular U.S. service in August, flying to Newark, New Jersey, and to San Francisco via Shanghai in October, executives said.
The airline will use its eight new Boeing 777s and five Airbus 330s, on these routes, says the UNI report. |

Latest Update on 9W's BKK flights
Jet starts daily flights to Bangkok
New Delhi, Jan 23 (IANS) Jet Airways, one of India's largest private airlines, Tuesday launched two new international flights linking Delhi and Kolkata to Bangkok.
'Bangkok is the 50th destination on our network and our third destination within the ASEAN region,' Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, chief executive officer, Jet Airways, said after the arrival of a Jet flight in Bangkok from Delhi Tuesday.
'The strengthening of economic ties between the two nations will see a marked increase in both business and tourist traffic and hence this is our effort to provide travellers with convenient connections,' he added.
'The 14 daily direct flights between India and Thailand will be operated with the new generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft with winglets,' an official spokesperson of Jet Airways said here.
As part of its inaugural offer, Jet Airways has introduced a special return economy class inaugural airfare starting at Rs.6,500 on the Kolkata-Bangkok-Kolkata sector, while economy fares start at Rs.13,500 on the Delhi-Bangkok-Delhi sector. The fares are exclusive of taxes.
The return airfare for club premiere for the Delhi-Bangkok sector ranges from Rs.28,500 to Rs.38,000 while on the Kolkata-Bangkok sector it is between Rs.18,500 and Rs.26,000.
Jet Airways has also announced a companion free offer for club premiere passengers on the Delhi-Bangkok-Delhi sector until March 31, 2007. The 'club premiere' tickets must be purchased by Feb 15 for travel until March 31, 2007, an official spokesperson for the airlines said.
