Toyota flying with airline partnership

Toyota and Kingfisher Airlines, India's fastest growing airline, today announced the signing of an exciting new official partnership.

Kingfisher Airlines will become an official partner of Toyota as part of their multi-year agreement starting in 2007. With immediate effect, the distinctive 'Fly Kingfisher' insignia will appear on the car, drivers' overalls and helmets and all corporate branding platforms.

Wow - good move by IT. Says something about the type of branding they'd like to create! I wonder if this also means that we're closer to getting our own domestic F1 circuit?

There have been rumors that F1 is coming in the next few years here for the past many many years, but it remains "a palace in the clouds"

Wow! That's good.

About domestic circuit it is interesting. The question is that can any city in India support it.

Most surprising is that smaller and obscure countries hold Asiads and Olympics quite impressively, but only big event has been Asiad in India. When will other cities boast similar infrastructural capabilities?

(But eventually the best driver in the red car will win Laughing )

Deviating a bit from the main topic bt F-1 indian circuit was suppose to come up at HYD. Any clues as to Hw much DR Mallya has paid for the sponsorship why nt give a bit to Narain Karthiken who has been trying hard to find sponsers to start his season in the F-1 again

India could host F1 race in 2009: Vijay Mallya

India could host a grand prix in Delhi as early as 2009, a close Indian associate of Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone said on Friday.

Leading businessman Vijay Mallya said after signing a sponsorship agreement between his Kingfisher Airlines and the Toyota team that he was confident the sport would come to the sub-continent.
