--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I log in the forum after a quite a bit of the time and whoa wat a topic to discuss..

@ KCM

Do you really think this article warrantes for discussion in our forum ??? What did you had dude before posting this article over here...

The moderation team has time an again specified we want to discuss civil aviation and not the high profile people who are directly or indirectly involved with civil aviation in india.

I am sure you treat Prajay as a fellow ai-netter would you feel nice if he discusses your sister, or your near and dearones under the same head as to how a guy who is passionate abt AI his sister flew jet or kingfisher...

Its their personal matter whether someone of their family is flying 9W or IT and you have got no right to invade their privacy or act as a watch dog that they fly AI only

Now hold on you will say that the article has not been written by you so why are you being spanked . With all due respected i guess you are the one who escalated this article into our forum and i am sure you did that because you wanted a discussion as this is no blogging site so here you go... I also read this article in toi probably before but never posted it because its not worth discussing

Trust me KCM you are lucky that this forum is more of a team effort and not a one man show with me the trigger otherwise i would have thrown you out for this and i mean every word of it...

Try to understand you can expect such antics frm media, or say strangers but not from acquaintances. Agreed you might not be pals with Prajay bt atleast you know him by name and aware he is a fellow ai netter

If you got a bit decency left in you do write an email to Prajay and apologise to him...

I am locking this thread and hope wont see any of such nonesense from you again.

Mr. Vaibhav Sarin

Ref: The thread titled "AI delay: Praful Patel's daughter takes Jet flight", and since locked.

Mister,

I can't understand what you are getting so worked up about.
You really seem to have your wires crossed today or you have seem to have definitely had an extra shot of Tequila.

I just can't belive what you have posted. Who the hell do you think you are. And how dare you use such language against me, and even adopt such a tone. It's obvious that you hail from that part of the country whose inhabitants lack manners and decency.

I would have appreciated it if you had sent me a personal PM, but as usual, you berate me in public, when much worse posted here doesn't elicit a word from highly suspect moderation from you.

I also have a bone to pick with you. Many a time I have found articles posted by me getting knocked off. No explanation, and tell-tale signs have always led me to your trail. When I have raised this with your other moderator colleagues, they have acknowledged that it is an issue and said that they would raise it with you, but NEVER an explanation from you, nor even a word of regret.

NOW.
Coming back to the point. Yes, the article was written by the Times of India so if you have a major problem with it, you raise the issue with them.

What have I said against the Minister's daughter? Anything vulgar?
The article, with the exact heading as it appeared, was a reaction to the recent mess at Air India. If you have chosen to interpret it differently, that's your problem. Nor am I guilty of inciting trouble. (Please note my remark at the end of the article as well, where I have said that the flight delays were leading to a tussle between Air India and Indian Airlines. In fact, that should have made it obvious to you where the discussion was going. There were no REMARK about the Minister's daughter.)

Also, look at the other remarks posted in the thread and then decide.

The rest of your extremely laughable message about my tendering an apology is as likely as my walking to the moon tonight and getting back home the same day.

Why should I apologise, and for WHAT?

If you also want to debar me, chuck me out of this forum or initiate legal action, please GO AHEAD. It takes quite a lot to frighten me.

Also let this message from me be allowed to be on this forum for all to see.
Just as you have posted it in public, let all members get to see what I HAVE TO SAY.

Don't be a chicken and lock it or delete it. And I want the chief moderator to step in.

And, as I have said, if you interpret this as an act of defiance and chose to GO AHEAD and throw me out, please do IT.

It's just a dead giveaway, frrm the tone and argument adopted that you just suck up to the Minister's son. Never have I adopted a nasty tone at all towards Mr. Prajay at any time, which is what makes your accusation against me, and this whole thing even more surprising.

... Also realise that when you enter the domain of public life, every move of yours will be in the spotlight. That's a drawback of public life.

KCM

I agree with KCM. It was highly inappropriate for a moderator to use such language on this forum against a fellow member.

It’s disheartening to see a fellow member (KCM) getting insulted on this forum. What i would like to see is bit of consistency wrt moderation of posts.

Vaibhav , Kindly take note of the following points

1) If you think KCM has done a wrong thing by posting such an article relating one's family, the people who actually discussed it specifically are equally responsible.

2) To KCM's credit , his point did have an inclination to the AI mess if the last line was read correctly, than to actually bring someone in limelight.

3)And Vaibhav, being a moderator on this forum , I think a more refined language needed to be used.

It was actually others who made the discussion surround Praful patel and his family. And they should be held responsible IF WHAT HAD BEEN WAS WRONG.

KCM , in future you come around a similar topic kindly put a disclaimer stating the actual point of discussion. Things will not get ugly and no one will ever point at you.

And as far as whether what KCM did was right or wrong I leave it to the senior people to comment on this.

Vaibhav

I think you should have PMd KCM.

He is here to give us new on aviation.

If my sis is mentioned in the paper about what she flew we all simply know the Indian Media - A waste of time.

I really have no personal problems about it.

If All the readers of Times of India all over the world can know then why not this community.

I guess you should apologise to KCM because we have to recognise the fact that its KCM who brings us all the possible news about AI which definately contributes to this forum running with heated debate.

Very Happy Prajay

The onus lies on you, mel and aseem as being the mods you people are the first citizens of it and if you people stoop to such levels, does it pave way or suggest to people that this is the future Question

KCM - on behalf of all the moderators, I'd like to offer an apology for the inappropriate comments from our team mate on the mods team.

We're keen to have all members continue on the board provided they follow the rules and regulations of this forum.

I think this posts warrants a reply from the moderator concerned. I am quite irked by this moderator using threats of locking threads. I think this is abuse of power.

Furthermore, if what KCM says is true and posts have been deleted without notification and explanation, I think thats inapproriate.

Aseem, I think you need to consider, whether this moderator, deserves to remain a moderator. His behaviour certainly does not warrant it.

Cheers

WTF?? its bad enough im not as regular around here as much as i was before keeping in tune with developments in aviation... but when i do.. i find theres a major mess? or an aftermath of one?

whats wrong with this place? and can someone care to explain in short what happened? Just so i stay informed for the future and side step any of these potential issues

That is.. if i even find this place worth sharing opinions and thoughts on topics that are about aviation and our passion for it.
