My First AFCAD File of an 'A380 Capable' Mumbai Airport.

Its built from the Stock itself (Hence, no Aircraft peeping into the Terminal Buildings!!). Though Ficitional and Un-imaginative (for, u know why!!), it still looks quite realistic on the Airside as it has been built on the Nearly Same Area as the Stock VABB Airport. The Runways are now Capable of handling A380 Aircrafts. Hence, longer and Wider(60m). Rwy 09/27 is now 4107m and Rwy 14/32 being 3000m. Thats the only Major Difference from the Default/Stock Airport. Displaced Thresholds have been Removed, ILS added to all Runways.

Apron Area has been Increased a lot to handle AI Traffic, but Realistically. That means around 170 Gates, 20 of them A380 Capable. (+ 5 A380 Capable Cargo Ramps at the Cargo Terminal). Such Expansion is also Possible in Real-World at CSIA if Slums are Removed, that is.(However, mine being a Virtual Airport, I need not Bother about Realism or Big terminals, etc as the Primary Reason was Space for AI Parking.)

Both Runways now have Parallel Taxiways running the Entire Length of the Runway. Rwy 14/32 now has Parallel Taxiways on Both Sides. Rwy 09/27 now has 2 Parallel Taxiways at the Domestic Side (for Simultaneous Operations) which help avoid 'Hold Positions' a lot when 09/27 is Active. This is a very Special Feature as Departing Aircraft can Easily use the 1st Taxiway, Other is then used by Arriving Aircraft (Not Fixed as such, though.) New Rapid Exit Taxiways help in Avoiding Go-Arounds due to faster Runway Clearances.

I have also made lots of "specially designed" taxiways for both Runways in order to let the AI-aircraft leave the Runway as fast as possible. Plus, Some Superb Work on other Taxiways means u won't see AI Aircraft Turning Abruptly. That Increases the Realism to a new Level.

Lots of Parking for B77Ws of Jet, AI, EK and for A380s, B744s for AI/KF/BA/LH, etc. Domestic Terminal now has almost 60 Parking Bays!

I have Simulated it a lot using TFS, FSP B77Ws, B772s, A343s,etc! But, Please do chip-in with your Constructive Suggestions and Criticisms if there are ne Errors!! Or Else, Just Enjoy!!!

______________________________________________________________

AFCAD Files of All Major Indian Airports. Files for VAAH (Ahmedabad), VOBG (Bangalore), VOCI (Cochin), VOTV (Trivandrum), VAPO (Pune), VANP (Nagpur), VIAR (Amritsar), VOMM (Chennai), VOHY (Hyderabad), VAGO (Goa). All Airports can now easily handle loads of AI Aircrafts of all sizes as lots of Gates have been added. Extra Taxiways, Longer Runways, ILS and Lighting for all Runways, New Tower Views, etc are Special Features.

PS: These Airports were Modified from original Stocks. And these aren't as detailed as VABB as exams are round the Corner.
