This would be first in a series of TR’s which are going to bore you :p
I travelled from BOM-TRV, Then TRV-MAA, MAA-BOM, All on Jet.
Right now writing just for BOM-TRV sector.

Regn : VT-JAT

STA( from DEL) : 9:55
ATA ( from DEL) : 1015

STD : 1040
ACD : - taxi : 1105 take off : 1120 5th in queue

STA ( in TRV) : 1240
ATA: 1320

Started from Pune & reached Mumbai airport around 9am. The flight was scheduled at 1040am.
Was a family trip & my dad had redeemed his points on this sector & my ticket got issued in Business class since Economy redemption quota was full.
Business class check-in was swift.
We had done web check-in, and it mentioned that counter 61 is for passengers who have done web check-in.
The max rush was at this counter & things were slow.
Many people were opting for kiosk checkin.
Newspapers were availale & in plenty.

The gates have been done up well, the entrance separate & well managed. Traffic ok,
On two sides of gate 2, is the shopping & food area.
On right, is the lounge by CCD & on left, crossword book store.
It’s a welcome change to see some nice book shop but charming faces at counter.
Went for security at 9:25am, it surprisingly was very fast.

Chandigarh flight was full but late.
First the announcement was made that delay was due to late arrival of incoming a/c which changed & blame was being put on conditions at BOM, later.
There was a flight for Kochi at the same time & it was full as well. Kochi has 4 flights a day, by Jet. Wonder if there is enough business or leisure traffic.
The other flights at that time were Pune : hardly anybody,
Ahmedabad : almost full, Hyderabad : full & Bangalore : Full.

The aircraft comes from DEL, & I was very sure that it would be late.
Strangely it was B737-400.
I was surprised, because it was quite a prime time flight on DEL-BOM sector as well.
The aircraft, around 9 yrs old.
Seats pretty old as well.

Spotted following a/c

JNH
JNY
SIZ
SIK : is complete white, no markings, no operator name. is this going to be first Jetlite ?
EYI
EYP

JGW : New jet colours. Any idea where it flies ?
JNJ
JNW
JGR
JNG
JGV
JNC

DKM- new Deccan.

INC
9V-SVD : SIA B777-200
AI 310 Cargo
Shanghai Cargo
VT-AXE of AIX
Couple of a/c with registrations starting from “N” including one kingfisher a/c

Take off was smooth & we turned south and the weather was clear much of the time.
Pilot announced thrice
33000ft
840kmph
And we travelled over Mangalore, Kochi & kozikode.

Got beautiful view of TRV before landing. It’s a strange airport, designwise.
No other aircraft on apron when we landed, this airport doesn’t have a taxiway & it’s a looong runway.
Terminal pretty small with just two small belts.

Just hurried with this TR, will try uploading photos & the other 2 TR’s soon.
The MAA-BOM leg was best, with inflight entertainment on B738

From the fleet I understamd, this was one of 4 B734s 9w operates

VT-SIK is indeed S2's albino 737-800 and is currently waiting for the livery finalization before it's painted...

Nice TR.

There is more that one albino Jetlite aircraft. I have seen VT-SIE in all white.

The N registered KF aircraft is probably the 727, which is parked in BOM.

While landing at TRV, the aircraft always overflies the airport, offering a great view of the empty airport.

KF was a B727, just got a glimpse though.

TRV, saw one IC A320, headed for Male from TRV, landing from the other side & so did jet ATR.. so I assumed that me one of lucky few.
