Boeing recorded 1044 net commercial air planes order in 2006 and for the second year in a row set a boeing record for total orders in a single year. This surpasses the previous boeing record of 1002 net orders in 2005."2006 was another outstanding year for our customers and for Boeing," said Scott Carson,Boeing Commercial airplanes President and CEO.
Well it looks like Airbus will have to do something better inorder to increase the orders from customers.B787 dreamliner project seems to have done a better job than A350 as of now.Airbus has lost out to Boeing when it comes to sale of long-haul jets.If you see the last two years Boeing has done well bcoz of huge order for their long haul jets compared to Airbus. _________________ www.flickr.com/G-BYGB photos |
