Having problems in uploading pictures with myaviation
I have to share some pictures and i am trying to put it in myaviation but then everytime i try i get this message
Quote: |
Too large photo
The file you uploaded was too large, it was 2816 x 2112 pixels and had a filesize of 1032947 bytes. Try to keep your photos smaller than 1600 x 1600 pixels and limit filesize to 1MB (1048576 bytes).
Around 1200 pixels in width is the ideal. If you keep it that size your photo will not be resized and will be uploaded with full quality.
Please press the back button on your web browser to upload a new photo.

I am a bit confused as when i check the size of picture that can be uploaded it says 1MB and my file size is 1.00 MB (1,050,097 bytes).
Where am i going wrong? |

You will have to reduce the size of your pic. Its most probably not the memory, but the physical size of the photo thats the problem.
I use Irfanview for reducing the size of the pic. I prefer 1280x960 or 1024x768 for uploading onto the net. _________________ My Flickr photos

Your going wrong in the dimensions of the picture. Even though your file size is under 1MB, the size had to also be within 1600x1600 pixels. I suggest you resize the photograph in either photoshop or any other such program.
That will solve your problem. The problem right now is that the picture you are uploading are just too large (large dimension wise and not file size wise).
Let me know if that helps.
