it wasnt just a good angle.. control like that in a crosswind i can estimate to easily be above 6-9knots coupled with an approach over terrain like that airport has.. it requires some precision flying

6-9 knots is nothing really....
Was it a visual approach? Unless we know what approach it was and the conditions I wouldn’t really call it a scary landing.
Amazing video, but the angle does make the aircraft seem a lot lower than it is.

thats the "minimum" i estimated.. it was obviously more judging by his compensation. i dont recall anyone saying it was scary. i just mentioned skill and thats what its intended about. If you listened carefully you can hear and understand how the pilot controls the thrust... to fly a manual approach that way in an aircraft as that is fantastic in my opinion.

Didn’t mean to critisise, the video on youtube is called 'scary landing'

Here's the VOR 02 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v309/JetExpress/MISC/MHTG.gif
...that's all i could find.

looks like the runways now become 01.
a post on airlines.net has this to say http://www.airliners.net/articles/read.main?id=8
Because of the short runway as soon as the plane crosses the fence separating the airport property and the highway, it must make contact. The runway has a “displaced threshold” leaving only 5,436 ft (1657 m) of useable landing runway. That short runway, coupled with a 1.06º downhill slope on runway 01, allows for little braking time.

wow!!

yep.. its very visible in the way he brings it to a stop...hard touchdown followed by very aggressive braking as is evident from how fast he slows down.. some real wear and tear on the engines i can imagine.

I googled it indirectly and stumbled upon it- It took me a while to find. I was going through a website and someone had posted the link.
Ill try and Google the BOM approaches, but if you've tried I don’t think ill have much success.

Getting a Jeppersen chart on the net will be tough due copyright regulations.
