Just what India needs. Another new airline proposed. Jet 2.0 has not yet taken to the skies and now one more set up by former CEO of Jet.
However this airline is proposed as ULCC, which means lower pricing and cut throat competition. |

Happened to see a video of this Jhunjhunwala guy being interviewed in the India Today conclave. He kept going on and on about the 'India story' - about being such a large market full of potential, with a successful space program yada yada yada.
And he was supposed to talk about his airline! He didn't say a word about it.
He seemed like another one of those airheads with lots of money and not knowing what to do with it, or yet another fruitcake with a lot of dirty stuff that needs washing.
I hope we don't see 737 MAX airplanes with fading Akasa logos rotting away in Indian airports in the future _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).
