Wonderful news that South Indian cuisine is finally being recognized.
Educating the American public will take time, but the goal will be realized.

Thank goodness in most major US metros I don’t even have to go to a traditional North Indian restaurant anymore.

No Naan, no butter chicken, no saag!
All the way baby, with dosai, idli and vadai!
It’s the nectar of the gods!

Agree, I find South and East Indian food better than North Indian.

I digress with Himmat Sir slightly: for me, the myriad cuisines of South India are what I find completely amazing. And yes, I have roamed around quite a bit, and followed my nose and tummy Smile
Cheers, Sumantra.

He's not been his usual self ever since AA retired their MD-80s from DFW. It ain't the same anymore Sad

It will take nothing short of an AI direct 777 service between DEL and DFW, complete with North Indian auntie FAs, to bring back the Texdravid we all know. Razz
